Race: Weaver

Thursday, June 7th, 2007

lotro race-Weaver Description:
Using poisons and clinging webs, the weaver can manipulate and control her prey.

The Spider Weaver has the best root of the creeps and it’s one of my two favorite PvP/PvMP classes, the other being the Blackarrow. The decent melee damage in conjunction with the root makes them great for ganging up on targets that stray too far from the pack. In PvMP its a good idea to have a group of Weavers shadowing just behind a stealthed warg group to root and take down the targets that get pounced on by the pack.

Race: Warleader

Lotro race-Warleader Description:
An impressive specimen of orc, the uruk war leader commands and distracts forces in battle.

The Warleader is the monster class healer. At rank 0 the Warleader has an AOE/AE res and a decent heal. The Warleader is a decent tank and essential to PvP or PvMP.

Lotro race-Stalker Description:
Silent and stealthy, the stalker strikes suddenly and does not offer escape for his foe.
The Warg is the monster or creep stealth class. They travel in packs and have a great knockdown skill called pounce that they use to incapacitate targets they sneak up on.

In PvMP packs of Wargs roll around stealthed just ahead of the font lines pouncing on burgs that unstealth to stun and those who wander to close.

Race: Reaver

Thursday, June 7th, 2007

Description:
Savage, brutal, and deadly, the reaver is at home on the field of battle — and few places else.

The ReaverĀ is a kind of melee DPS/DD and debuffer hybrid. He has good melee damage output and a most importantly can break stuns and dazes. The Reaver has some decent debuffs like blind and slow and all things considered it’s a pretty well rounded class. The versatile nature of the Reaver pretty much frees him up to do about anything in PvP but he isn’t specialized in any specific area.
